Arts & Science

It was parent observation day at Emily's ballet class this week. It was fun to watch all the aspiring ballerinas hard at work.

Jake took his turn as "Star of the Week" at school, which gave him an opportunity to share special memories from our sailing trip and blow a conch horn in class!

As for Drew, he has been hard at work collecting data for his Science Fair project. It was originally going to be related to electro-magnets, but after a long and painful day attempting to create a coil gun powered by batteries and used disposable cameras, a family decision was made to switch to something that had less potential for electrocuting dad!

Drew is now testing how increased distance effects arrow penetration, though he also has some interesting data on the effects of science projects on the stress level of adult males for anyone who might be interested!

Here's a very quick photo album.
