South Coast to Colombo

Udawalawe National Park to Tangelle, Sri Lanka

The photos linked here include some hiking we did around Ella; an afternoon safari at Udawalawe National Park, home to 350+ Asian elephants and an assortment of birds, monkeys and other wildlife; and our first views of Sri Lanka's southern coast. 

Sri Lanka's Hill Country - Kandy to Ella

Pictured here is the Temple of the Tooth, one of Sri Lanka's most famous Buddhist Temples.

The rail line between Nuwara Eliya to Ella is considered among the most beautiful train trips in the world. Many of the photos in the linked album were shot from the train.
