MOMU

Click here for photos from our visit to MOMU... the Moesgaard Museum of Culture, Archaeology and Ethnography and home to Grauballe Man. The picture above is part of a fabulous exhibit and film currently showing at MOMU called The Journey.

It was a rainy day in Denmark, but the early evening weather was dry, which made the Marselisborg Mindepark pictured below a fun post-museum stop.

Netherlands to Denmark

Click here for photos of our drive from Amsterdam through northern Germany and into Denmark, toward our destination of Aarhus, where we will spend the next week. We made a few stops along the way to see the windmills just outside of Amsterdam and to visit a couple of coastal communities along the Baltic Sea.

Amsterdam

Click here for some photos taken around Amsterdam. Pictured above is the houseboat rental we're calling home for the weekend (the white/tan one)... a great spot for a family reunion.

Iceland

Click here for photos from our 3-day stopover in Iceland in route to connect with Pat in Amsterdam. Most these photos were taken along The Golden Circle and southern Iceland Coast from the Reykjanes Pennisula to Vik.  (More photos coming, once we have a chance to gather everyone's phone photos.)

NYC

Click here to see (200+) photo highlights from our 72 hours in NYC. We covered a lot of ground, saw a lot of sights, connected with cousins, celebrated Emily's Scholastic Arts Gold Key Award, and had a great mom-daughter weekend in the Big Apple.

Meantime in and around Kenya, Pat visited the Seychelles over a recent holiday weekend to do some diving and continues to squeeze work in between animal sightings.

LHS Graduation - Class of 2017

Click here for photos from Sunday's Lincoln High School graduation ceremony, held at Portland's Memorial Coliseum. Pat participated via Facetime, and Ms. Rouse, who taught all three kids for 7th and 8th grade Social Studies/English block, join us in person.  Mr. Fox, in whose Queer History class both Jake and Emily participated as seniors and their teacher-sponsor for comedy club, gave an inspired graduation speech. The ceremony was followed by a school-organized all-night grad party, from which the twins just returned this morning at 5am.
