We took an evening sail aboard Dreamer Too last night in order to catch the fireworks show that marks the opening of the annual Rose Festival. Rain, rainbows, and even a bit of thunder and lightening added interest to the evening, but the fireworks were amazing! Click here for photos.
Drew and his fellow sailors celebrated the end of the spring sailing season last night with dinner and an awards ceremony. Lincoln sailors got their varsity letters, and everyone got to extend a fond farewell to the sailing team's graduating seniors. Click here to see photos.

ake, Emily and friends took part in a belated birthday celebration last night. For a few hours, our backyard was transformed into a castle-o-fun. There were burgers for dinner and dessert, dancing, games and a LOT of bouncing. It was a lovely evening, and a good time was had by all. Click here for photos.
Jake and Emily turned 13 on Saturday... so did their twin friends Jake & Elena on Friday. Here is a photo album of some of our week and weekend activities, which included another track meet for Jake, special friends day for our Kindergarten twin friends Luna & Diego, a cupcake-decorating, fire-pit pre-birthday bash with neighborhood friends, a beautiful day in the park complete with tree-climbing, Mother's Day brunch at Slappy Cakes, planting our garden and more.
The twins and their block class are just back from 3 days in Ashland, OR, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Click here for photos.
Their trip included seeing 3 plays (Romeo & Juliet, White Snake & Animal Crackers), participating in several acting workshops, and a behind-the-scenes tour.
