Aurora Farmers' Fair
Just returned from a trip to Indiana to join in celebrating the 100th anniversary year of the Aurora Farmers' Fair with Grandma Janet, Grandpa Carl, Uncle John, etc. Here's a photo album.
The kids got to enjoy the rides and games with their cousins, Kaylee and Brooke; watch Grandma Janet's class float go by in the annual Saturday morning parade; and take in a performance of an Army drum & fife corp at the local high school.
Special thanks to Aunt Judy and Charlotte DeVille for helping make our visit a surprise. Dad didn't make the trip, but the kids were able to stay in touch via one of the fair webcams.

Hi Ehlers!
First off, this is Jenny Welburn.
Second, I just wrote you a really long comment and it got erased. :(
You're home! It's been so long since I've been in touch with you, and now the kids are all grown up. And that goes for Claire and Emma, too. It was fun to look at your pictures; it looks like you had a life of so many adventures over the past year. What fun that must have been for all of you!
I'm excited to see that you are living in the same house. (I loved that house.) I'm going to have to come see you next time I make my way up to Portland.
Life is good for me. I enjoy my job, and I'm now in my second year of teaching in Medford. This town isn't really for me, though, so I'm gearing up to apply for jobs in Portland. I love that town far too much to be away from it!
I would love to hear from you. Drop me a note if you get a chance. My new email is jennywelburn@gmail.com.
Be well!
Jenny
