Thanksgiving in Portland

Last week marked the first time since 2016 when the five of us were together for Thanksgiving. We celebrated the start of the 2021 holiday season in Portland, with a week of long walks, good food, fun and games with friends (we highly recommend Wingspan), and of course a trip to Pioneer Square to see the Christmas Tree. We also celebrated Fig's first birthday during our visit. Click here for photos.

We started blogging in 2007 to document a year-long family sailing adventure. Upon returning to our home base in Portland, Oregon, in 2008, our adventures and blogging continued. Sri Lanka and Malta took center stage for our 2018-2020 adventures. We were bicoastal (OR and PA) for a while in 2020-2022, but as we look ahead to our 16th year of posts, we're together in Oregon once again.
