The kids arrived in Malta on December 14 to celebrate the holiday season with us. Click here and click here for photos from our adventures so far. We have visited ancient ruins, including the Hypogeum and Tarxien Temples; hiked Malta's coasts, including Golden Bay and the Marfu Peninsula; explored historic Valletta, Rabat, and Mdina all dressed-up for Christmas; and today, we got up close and personal with some lovely owls, eagles, and peregrines at the Malta Falconry Center.

We started blogging in 2007 to document a year-long family sailing adventure. Upon returning to our home base in Portland, Oregon, in 2008, our adventures and blogging continued. Sri Lanka and Malta took center stage for our 2018-2020 adventures. We were bicoastal (OR and PA) for a while in 2020-2022, but as we look ahead to our 16th year of posts, we're together in Oregon once again.
