We wanted to thank everyone who reached out after hearing the news of the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka. Thank you for your kind thoughts during a difficult time. The U.S. Embassy has been posting updates on the situation in Sr. Lanka, which remains very unsettled.

We started blogging in 2007 to document a year-long family sailing adventure. Upon returning to our home base in Portland, Oregon, in 2008, our adventures and blogging continued. Sri Lanka and Malta took center stage for our 2018-2020 adventures. We were bicoastal (OR and PA) for a while in 2020-2022, but as we look ahead to our 16th year of posts, we're together in Oregon once again.
