Both Jake's and Emily's Destination Imagination teams advanced to State at yesterday's metro tournament. Congratulations CanDI Rappers and Chopsticks on a job well done! The boys' balsa-wood structure held nearly 500 lbs and 11 golf balls before maxing out the crusher machine in their challenge, called "Hold It!". They had a strong 2nd place finish. The girls collected more than 1,200 books as part of a community service project promoting childrens' literacy for their "Project Outreach" challenge and took first place.
