Here are photos of Jake and Emily and classmates performing in their school play, King Arthur's Quest.
It was Missoula Children's Theater Week... always a highlight of the school year! With try-outs on Monday and performances quickly following on Friday and Saturday, it was a busy five days. Jake played the role of a citizen of Camelot, while Emily was the poet/bard, Taliesin.
Emily was thrilled to be selected for one of the lead roles this year, and she did a great job! We have some video clips that we'll upload soon. Several of the main characters had "mini" versions of themselves played by 1st and 2nd graders. The minis added a little extra cute factor, plus provided some needed "scale" when it came time to fight the dragon!
Speaking of scale... it's official. Drew is now taller than Pat :). He is having a great 7th grade year, though there haven't been many opportunities recently to capture that on film.
