It was Missoula Children's Theater Week at Bridlemile. Jake and Emily both participated in try-outs on Monday afternoon... Emily because she really wanted to be in the show and Jake because his teacher told the class that cast members got a week off from homework!
As fate would have it, Jake was selected as a "seasider" for MCT's version of "The Little Mermaid". Emily had to settle for "audience member", a role she accepted graciously despite her initial disappointment.
Here are some photos from the Friday and Saturday performances. Just look for the cute boy in the yellow hat! It was quite a whirlwind week for Jake, but the show came together nicely and was a big hit! Both Jake and Emily are already looking forward to next year's auditions.
