Happy Vesak

Biera Lake, pictured above, is decorated for Vesak, a week-long Buddhist festival commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and death of Buddha. The timing of Vesak ties to May's full moon. This year's celebrations have been quieter and less crowded than usual, but Colombo businesses and temples have still gone all out with extravagant light displays. Click here for photos. 

Twinty Years of Twinergy

Well, that went by fast. Jake and Emily celebrated their 20th birthdays this past weekend. They met up in Portland to hang out with their big brother and visit family friends.
