Spring Break Wrap-Up

We had a rainy end to Spring Break down here at 500 feet, but there was lots of new snow at Timberline.  Click here for a few photos from the boy's trip to Mt. Hood for some Spring skiing yesterday.  There were also a few good sun breaks this weekend for enjoying Drew's new slack line in the backyard.

We're just back from a long weekend at the Oregon Coast to kick-off Spring Break.  It was reasonably warm and sunny for the majority of our stay in Depot Bay.  Thank you Marvin and Betsy for the use of your lovely beach condo. 

We spent some time exploring Cape Foulweather, Otter Rocks and Devil's Punchbowl just south of Depot Bay; visiting Newport, its resident sea lions, and the OSU Hatfield Marine Science Center; hiking to Drift Creek Falls; sand and body boarding in Pacific City; and hanging out with friends in Neskowin.

Emily got to perform at the Crystal Ballroom this evening with her stilting group, Joy Now, as part of March Fourth Marching Band's annual birthday concert.  Click here for photos.

Another side of DI

Jake and Emily got to participate in Destination Imagination in an all new way today - as alumni volunteers at the Metro Regional Tournament.  They helped check-in teams for the Rising Star challenge.  

Drew continues to work on his ukelele skills.  Here he is jamming with friends.  Clearly we need to take more photos... no albums to include this post.
